Payment and Refund Policy
Last updated: 25 September 2026
Scope of the Policy and the Products or Services It Covers
This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of programming courses, digital course materials, subscriptions, and related educational services offered through the website operated by mediavizzo. It covers online course programming products delivered digitally to customers in Singapore and elsewhere. The policy explains how payments are handled, when refunds may be issued, and the rights of both parties under Singapore law. It does not cover physical goods or services outside the scope of course programming.
Prices, Currencies, Taxes, and Any Additional Charges
All prices are listed in Singapore Dollars (SGD) unless otherwise stated. Prices include Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the prevailing rate of 9 percent where applicable under Singapore tax law. Customers are responsible for any additional charges such as bank fees, currency conversion fees, or internet access costs. mediavizzo reserves the right to adjust prices for new enrolments, but existing confirmed orders remain at the price agreed at the time of purchase.
Accepted Payment Methods, Payment Authorisation, and Payment Security
We accept major credit and debit cards, PayNow, and other secure payment gateways commonly used in Singapore. Payment is authorised at the time of order placement. All transactions are processed through secure third-party providers that comply with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards. mediavizzo does not store full card details. Customers will receive an email confirmation once payment is successfully authorised.
Order, Booking, or Service Confirmation and When a Contract Is Formed
A binding contract is formed when mediavizzo sends an order confirmation email after successful payment. This confirmation outlines the course details, access period, and terms. Until this email is received, no contract exists and payment authorisation may be released if the order cannot be fulfilled.
Cancellation Rights and Applicable Cancellation Periods
Under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act in Singapore, customers generally have no statutory cooling-off period for digital content once access is granted. However, mediavizzo offers a 7-day cancellation window from the date of purchase for most courses, provided no substantial content has been accessed. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time with effect from the next billing cycle.
Refund Eligibility, Exclusions, and Non-Refundable Items or Services
Refunds are available within the cancellation window if the customer has not downloaded or completed more than 20 percent of the course content. Non-refundable items include promotional bundles, completed courses, and any digital certificates already issued. Refunds are not provided for change of mind after the eligibility period or for failure to meet personal learning goals.
The Step-by-Step Procedure and Information Required to Request a Refund
To request a refund, customers must email [email protected] with their order number, full name, and reason for the request. The request should be submitted within the applicable period. mediavizzo may require additional verification such as proof of purchase or account details before processing.
Inspection, Approval, Rejection, and Notification of the Refund Decision
Requests are reviewed within 10 business days. mediavizzo will inspect access logs to confirm eligibility. Customers receive an email notification of approval or rejection with reasons. Rejected requests may be appealed once by providing further information.
Refund Method, Processing Time, and When Funds Should Reach the Customer
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing typically takes 5 to 14 business days depending on the payment provider. Customers should allow up to 30 days for funds to appear in their account. No cash refunds are provided.
Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions, Services, or Promotional Offers Where Relevant
Digital course content is non-returnable once downloaded or streamed. Subscription cancellations stop future billing but do not entitle pro-rata refunds for partially used periods. Promotional offers may have separate terms stated at purchase; these override general refund rules where explicitly mentioned.
Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks, and Suspected Fraud
Failed payments will result in order cancellation and access denial. Duplicate charges are investigated and refunded promptly upon notification to [email protected]. Chargebacks or suspected fraud trigger account review and may lead to permanent suspension. mediavizzo cooperates with authorities on fraudulent activity.
Mandatory Consumer Rights in the Target Country That the Policy Cannot Exclude
This policy does not exclude or limit any rights under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act, the Sale of Goods Act, or the Unfair Contract Terms Act in Singapore. Customers retain the right to seek remedies for misrepresentation or defective services regardless of this policy.
